The Roman Lake
The high content of salt and other elements present in the lakes from the Turda Salt Baths confer these baths special therapeutic properties. In this context, the main attraction is the Roman Lake, which was transformed into an open-air bath.
The open-air bath has a capacity of about 8.000 persons. „The Roman Lake” (the open-air bath) ,7 m deep and with a salt concentration of about 46-48 0/00 has special therapeutic properties, serving as treatment for rheumatic diseases, gynecological diseases, diseases of the peripheric nervous system etc.
